This Morning
I LOVE IT!! 
Sam said he thought it started snowing about midnight. Temperatures began below freezing and remained there. 
I left the house a bit early and made it down the driveway to the blacktop county road. Soft, soft snow with no undercoat of ice. 
No slipping and sliding for me. 
I stopped for photos every fraction of a mile. Just took my time. 
I don't know if you remember this old stump and fence...but my boss, Da Judge, wants two more photos of this scene...
Another in the spring...and one in the summer. To go along with this one I took in the fall. 
She wants prints of them to mat and frame and hang in our office! :-)
We had a small turnout at the courthouse. Some offices didn't open at all. Others closed before lunch. We called around and found that the BBQ place was open so Da Judge went out for chopped beef sandwiches for us. We sat around the desk eating and talking. Did a bit more work. Next thing I knew my red blazer and scarf were tossed on a chair as she said, "We're going home." About mid-afternoon.
I stopped at the grocery store for milk and a few other things. Called girlfriend Earlene and told her the roads were wet but clear and the parking lot at the grocery store was slushy so she wouldn't have any trouble. I think I woke her from her nap! LOL
Tomorrow's Saturday! CARTOON day! ;-)

Camper, Stump, etc.
Shortly after we got the camper and pickup we took a trip to Colorado. We purchased the camper because we were going to spend summers in Colorado after Sam retired, I quit my job, and we moved back 'home.' We didn't I mentioned at the family reunion that I would like to sell it. Just via word of mouth, we have several interested. So...here's what it looks like. 
Click on the photo to enlarge it. The front window is the 'bedroom.' The longer window is over the sofa. The little window is at the kitchen sink...next is the stove then refrigerator then bathroom. Other side of the bathroom is twin size bunk beds...going back to the front is a closet, the dinette, outside door...same bedroom.
Look at the clouds in the west. This morning about 8:30 or so.
The promised shot of the tree stump. I love the 'setup' on this. Wouldn't it make a neat painting?!
Never have taken a photo of my new Tahoe. Here she is.
Dirty. Half in the shade. But I love her! BTW, I've named her "Jewel" after her paint name...Red Jewel Tint-tone. I think it's appropriate.

Fall

I parked right beside the fence and snapped this just before getting back in the Tahoe. I'll try to 'frame' it better tomorrow...unless we get the predicted rain.

Fall Drive
White River at Calico Rock.
Me thinks these are...
Wild turkeys!
Steam rising from the White River and birds a-flying...
What does the double yellow line mean? For this person...not much. Whoever was driving would take more than their fair share out of the oncoming lane. This time...not too bad...but I was amazed and how much they drifted over the line in the curves. Shame-shame!
