The Friends of the Library is hosting a fashion show and luncheon. "We" are the models! LOL
The clothes are from BonWorth's. I picked out two skirts...each with shells...one with a zip front jacket and the other with a cardigan. Confession time. This is probably not a store I would have found on my own and walked in to in order to make a purchase. Most, if not all, of the slacks are polyester. MOST of ALL of the clothes are polyester. That is NOT my favorite fabric. I revolted about modeling slacks, but the four people who picked their two outfits before me all picked slacks. So for variety, I picked skirts.
I made pimento cheese last night for my donation to the luncheon. I had two big bowls of grated cheese...until I stirred everything together. Now it is one bowl. I'm not sure it's going to be enough! So on the way, I'll stop and purchase grated cheese, pimentos, and mayonnaise. I'll bring the garlic powder and paprika with me. Just to have everything on hand - just in case. I certainly don't want 5 pounds of pimento cheese to eat ... over the next 6 months!
I'll get a photo of the sandwiches today and post it with the 'recipe,' if it can be called that. I watched Mama using a tabletop vegetable shredder when she made pimento cheese. There's no written recipe...just what I remember seeing her do...and adding my own personal touches.

Thanks to my CHEERLEADERS! Y'all are A+!
I think I'm safe posting photos. I don't think any of those involved in the pregnancy epidemic in the family check out my blog.
Here's the baby quilt top sewn together. I hope to get thread to quilt with tomorrow. I'm looking for at least one more piece of fabric for the January baby.
I made this too. I told Erin I made something for the baby...and that in order for it to fit...the baby needed to weigh 15 pounds. She laughed and is hoping that the baby does NOT weigh 15 pounds. Go figure!
What's with the loop handle at the bottom? The pattern called for it. I'm just wondering if you grab the loop and throw the baby over your shoulder if he'll slide right on out. ;o)

Reward
I have been so excited to lose the weight that I've lost. I am disappointed that it's taking so loooong to lose it...but it's still "Adios!" This was my first exercise suit. A pair of men's sweatshorts I purchased at Fred's and a Daingerfield Days t-shirt from 2006 - back when they were putting the year on the t-shirts. "We" don't do that now and can sell last year's t-shirts this year. ;o) Underneath is an exercise top (aka bra). Everything is an XL.
When I officially lost the first ten pounds. I celebrated by purchasing a so cute set of exercise clothes...LADIES size large. But...I was so shocked at how fat I look in that photo! Girlfriend Earlene said that mirrors distort us. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! I would keep stretching the image, but my neck is starting to look like a giraffe.
There are worse things.
Gotta go find my hat and boots.
